The CSC Blog after midterm

Hello everyone, This is another slog for my CSC104 class.

The New Version of my Note

    Last week we just finished the midterm exam. While I got a B on my exam, I am not satisfied with my current mark. So I decided to change in the following month. Such as the way I made my note and the way I review. Last week when I review my note in the class, I always Found the fact that some of the parts were too messy to understand. Hence, the first step for me is to change the way I write my note and make them more clear and understandable. I will also try to help others when I was preparing my test because helping others is the best way to re-read all the memory in my brain.


The class is also getting more interesting than the beginning of the term. We start to learn a lot about functions and defining numerous of things. I am really enjoying when I first test a function can model the lottery ticket. Since I played a lot of phone game are about winning a prize with only 1%. Now I know the basic programming technique to simulator this scenario. I feel that CSC is extremely interesting and I want to continue studying computer science in my next semester.

  Sometimes I will find difficulties in the class, I still remember when I was doing the practicing exam, I found out that no matter how I change the function, the function always responded error. I asked my classmate about this issue but they did not know where the problem is. Ultimately, I used F1 in DrRacket and find out the issue in my function. If I still can not find where the issue is, I will go to the CS Helping center. I went there once and all the TAs are really helpful with a lot of thoughtful advice and help. 
      We still have a project to do this week, I am really excited about that since it is a good opportunity to review everything in the class, as well as a good way to explore more in Computer Science.
